The Minnesota Freedom Fund is a community based nonprofit that combats the harms of incarceration by paying bail for low-income individuals who cannot otherwise afford it. They were founded several years ago by a law student, and they needed a professional logo to match their aspirations as a growing organization.
After presenting the board chair with 11 options, 4 were selected for a vote by the whole board. The chosen design is clear and concise, with freedom being symbolized by wings indicated by the slanted Fs. Charcoal grey and cyan are distinguished colors which give the org both a freshness and a sofistication.
